AERODROME CONTROL TOWER shall not
issue the take-off clearance when the visibility is
less than :
e) 1 statute
mile (1 600 m) for aero plane having one or two engines;
f) ½ statute
mile (800 meters) for aero plane having more than two engines;
g) ½ statute
mile (800 meters) for helicopters.
In the interest of expediting
traffic, a clearance for immediate take-off may be
issued to an aircraft before it enters the runway. On acceptance of such
clearance the aircraft shall taxi out to the runway and take-off in one
continuous movement.
Determination of runway-in-use
rests on AERODROME CONTROL TOWER. Before clearing IFR
traffic to depart, release time statement shall be obtained from SEAHORSE
APPROACH CONTROL OFFICE.
Irrespective weather conditions,
departure IFR will be transferred from AERODROME
CONTROL TOWER to SEAHORSE APPROACH CONTROL OFFICE immediately after the
aircraft is airborne.
AERODROME CONTROL TOWER shall
ensure that the departure IFR is separated from other
arriving (IFR/VISUAL FLIGHT RULES) traffic in accordance with the
minima specified at the aerodrome.
Departure VISUAL FLIGHT RULES
traffic shall be cleared to be on VISUAL FLIGHT RULES corridor as soon
as possible.
Departure VISUAL FLIGHT RULES
traffic will be transferred from AERODROME CONTROL TOWER to SEAHORSE APPROACH
CONTROL OFFICE at point ALPHA (for westbound traffic) or point BRAVO (for
eastbound traffic) or at any point/time/level agreed by AERODROME CONTROL TOWER
and SEAHORSE APPROACH CONTROL OFFICE.
