Seahorse Tower Procedure

Share
General Full coordination with the respective ATS units is required for all traffic operating in and outside of the airspace of the AERODROME CONTROL TOWER.
AERODROME CONTROL TOWER shall take into consideration the effect of wake turbulence when controlling traffic. It is especially important at SEAHORSE AIRPORT due to the mixture of aircraft type operating simultaneously.

Circuit pattern and height for fixed wing aircraft (aero plane)
Circuit pattern at SHE aerodrome are as follows :

a) Runway 16L : normal (east of overhead station)
b) Runway 16R : right hand (west of overhead station)
c) Runway 34L : normal (west of overhead station)
d) Runway 34R : right hand (east of overhead station)
e) Runway 07 : normal (north of overhead station)
f) Runway 25 : right hand (north of overhead station)

(see detailed information in attachment 11 on page 198).

Circuit height
a) Light aircraft and piston engine : 500 – 800 ft.
b) Medium/heavy aircraft and turbine/jet engine : 1 000 – 1 500 ft.
c) Over flying aircraft (via overhead) : at or above 2 000 ft.

Note.— Since the separation between aircraft in the traffic circuit and the overflying aircraft is less than 1000 feet, AERODROME CONTROL TOWER shall provide (essential) traffic information to the aircraft concerned.
