Bird strike Report Air Traffic Control

The situations which may be occurred :

a) canopy or glass of cockpit is broken;

b) engine is inoperative;

c) could create hydrolic or electrical or gear problem;

d) failed to land;

e) return to base;

f) poor or limited visibility.

The actions should be taken are as follow :

a) ask the flight crew whether he is able to control aircraft properly;

b) give the permission to extend downwind, if requested;

c) check the runway condition;

d) inform the aerodrome conditions;

e) inform the facilities which may be available;

f) prepare the GSE or towing equipment;

g) inform weather conditions;

h) coordinate with the FFS and Security Units.
